The International Relief Center [IRC] offers humanitarian support to assist the
impoverished people of Southeast Asia, and is proudly supported by the Cambodian Government.
IRC's commitment is outstanding. Its first school was built in the province of Savay Rieng,
servicing children of thirty-two thousand refugees living in eight surrounding villages.
IRC established a new warehouse in the Kampong Cham province where IRC staff, procure and distribute essential medical supplies.
IRC offer effective medical assistance and training to address a wide range of health concerns affecting many in Cambodia, such as, malaria, plague, hepatitis B, HIV, rabies, dengue, fever, Japanese encephalitis, eye infection, liver fluke disease, bilharzias, creatures, diarrhoea, heat exhaustion and symptoms of heat stroke.
IRC's aims continue to support the following projects;
- build medical facilities and schools in remote provinces;
- provide basic life skills training and services;
- build wells for portable drinking water to support growth in local agriculture;
- foster a strong sense of community and work together to alleviate the burden of poverty;
- develop child protection programs to safeguard the dignity of Cambodia's children
The people of Cambodia are confronted everyday by struggle but IRC is determined to enrich their lives and hopes that you might consider supporting its endeavours in any way, great or small.
