Please don't forget me, I'm still here!
When you watch the sun come up over the Gold Coast shore,
When the glistening waves roll in, sun kissed seas of my home.
Please don't forget me, I'm still here.
I cry myself to sleep as I lie here in my bed
Frightening fear and helplessness go around inside my head
I feel so far away from my homeland Australia.
Please save me, I'm still here
With my whole being I cry out I'm innocent of this crime
My fellow Australians, government and friends
Please help me so this nightmare , soon will end.
Please don't forget me, I'm still here.
What is the value of just one life, who could be as wise as to say?
Except parents who has lost a child, pain and grief never go away.
What if that life was Mother Teresa, Mandela or JFK?
The world would never be so bright
Without that one very precious life
"Schapelle Corby" A
butterfly in a net.
Please don't forget me, I'm still here.
