Postcards are the nicest thing to receive because Schapelle can share these with others in the cell and they can derive some comfort from them too. It is important to build friendly relations with both cell mates and guards. Often a picture tells a thousand words.... and if she's lucky they'll let her put them on the walls to disguise the unattractive interior.

Care packages for Schapelle. Update 19 September 2005

Amidst all the confusion that's going around about the delivery of care packages to the Consulate in Bali, Mercedes has confirmed [Sun night 11/09/05] that if anyone would like to send a care package for Schapelle then they should send directly to the Prison and NOT the consulate.

A delivery pick up notice is sent to her and she collects the packages from the Post Office and delivers to Schapelle.

Our apologies for any confusion. At times it is difficult to keep up with the many changes relating to Schapelle's situation.
