Laos court sentences man to death
A court in Laos has sentenced to death a man from the African nation of Ghana. Mohammed Abubakari was found guilty of drug trafficking. He was arrested nearly two years ago with 1.5 kilograms of heroin. Abubakari reportedly confessed that he was hired by a man in the Thai capital, Bangkok to carry the drugs to Vientiane.

He received a plane ticket and 1,000 US dollars.
